Review of The Pelican Brief (1993) by Sheron W — 10 Feb 2008
Truly well done thriller in the fact that it holds such unique traits to it. apart from its smart dialogue and ship-shape acting performances by roberts and washington, its surprising to realize how fast paced and exciting this film is for a talk-driven legal thriller.
it holds a cause and fights with it. it also proves that sometimes in cinema, the surprise doesn't come from what will happen, but how it will happen. the fact that this film succeeds with all its elements and mysteries laid out, makes it one of the most fascinating and unique mysteries ever put on screen.
