Review of The Peanuts Movie (2015) by Matthew O — 04 Feb 2016

I am so conflicted on this movie. It's not funny, I didn't laugh once. However, kids will enjoy it, and the Peanuts characters are about friendships, loyalty and the importance of them both. Unfortunately there just isn't much to this one, other then the nostalgic music and characters.

There are no surprises and the movie is essentially the same as everything you've seen in the past. I saw this in a small theater with about 30 people and more than half were kids. Nobody laughed once but the kids were locked in.
