Review of The Pawnbroker (1965) by Andy F — 09 Nov 2017
With amazing visuals from director Sidney Lumet and a stunning jazz soundtrack by Quincy Jones, these are but the adornments to this film about a mentally tortured concentration camp survivor in sixties Harlem.
Full of memorable small characters, The Pawnbroker is as entertaining as it is dark and memorable.
