Review of The Patriot (2000) by James T — 02 Aug 2010

Very entertaining movie with a few very gory action scenes. I feel the actors did well for the most part, especially Ledger and Issacs. Gibson on the other hand wasn't necessarily bad, but he just didn't seem like a great cast for his role.

Also the story seemed somewhat interesting but at the same time it was very simple, and it was very inaccurate to history. For instance, that last major battle Gibson fought in in the movie, we actually lost that in reality.
