Review of The Passion of the Christ (2004) by Debra B — 01 Aug 2012
Very graphic and violent, it sparked a controversial debate about its importance and the true meaning of the message that it so ostentatiously delivers. Through the last 12 hours of Jesus Christ's life we see a huge amount of faults and painful tortures.
Unfortunately, the movie's only purpose is to shock and there isn't anything exceptional about all of that, maybe only the hatred towards Mel Gibson that many people will bear after viewing The Passion of the Christ.
