Review of The Passion of the Christ (2004) by Garrett C — 31 Mar 2013
Director Mel Gibson takes far too many liberties retelling the story of Christ's crucifixion, adding in pointless, disturbing imagery (what was with the creepy devil-baby and the deformed children?) to an already ostensibly disturbing film.
As a whole, Passion of the Christ is more revolting than reverent. I'm disappointed.
