Review of The Passion of the Christ (2004) by Parker J — 02 Oct 2015
Gore and bloodshed seem to be the main focus of this film. Not a cohesive story. Take the source material out of context and what you are left with is torture porn. The production value is good, and if you are religious this might hold meaning to you.
But outside out that, it's just visionally displeasing. But, maybe that's the point (question mark?).
