Review of The Passion of Darkly Noon (1995) by Keith R — 19 May 2008
This film deserves credit for steadfastly clinging to its ambiguity, even while collapsing into the urge to stage a "big" ending. It's not a good ending. One could easily argue that it's not a good film.
And yet... the complete absence of context, combined with characters that are distinctly odd yet consistent, work together to create something oddly compelling. At least up until the final act.
