Tremendous directorial debut by Karen. I have to say I love all her work and a big fan since Dr. Who days. Great to see her stretch beyond her current Marvel universe.
This film hits a lot of important points and she nails its, also a great supporting cast around her. I won't give away spoilers, but the plot takes a few turns I didn't expect. Incredible to watch her performance take the character emotionally and even physically downhill then to discover what she needed to live life again.
This movie really needs to be seen by all teenagers to young adults.
Really spoke to me, I saw it at a film festival and can't wait to see it again in theaters with my friends.....and yes I cried in a few places because of how it relates to my life.
Can't wait to see Karen's next director project or screenplay!!!
