I want to go to this party! Sellers brilliant turn as Hurundi V Bakshi underscores a signature Blake Edwards effort of foreground vs background comparison comedy. The late 60s light jazz score also adds to the atmosphere of this piece - but its Sellers movie through and through! On picking up his shoe which has landed on a plate of entrees - "Well, I'm on a diet but to HELL with it"!
