Review of The Party (1968) by Tristan S — 19 Mar 2008
This was actually good; yes that comment does mean I was expecting it to be bad, but I was pleasantly suprised. I have attempted to watch the Pink Panther films multiple times, each time failing due to the stupidity of the films, yet I really enjoyed this.
The humour was good and consistent, harkening back to one of my favourite comedies, "Le Diner de Cons". Slapstick can work Hollywood, you just have to do it right!
