Review of The Parallax View (1974) by Adam G — 20 Sep 2007
1974 was a great year for movies but this one is a noble failure. Disturbing in its unsatisfactoriness. Pakula's architectural vision adds to the unease. The shot of the vehicle careering among the tables (don't want to spoil it at all by explaining this) is worth the (metaphorical) price of admission alone.
