Review of The Parallax View (1974) by Sean B — 09 Feb 2009
This movie is a sucky shadow of great films like 3 Day of the Condor and All the President's Men but makes a nice triumverate if you want to check out mid-70's conspiracy flicks. The BEST thing is watching Warren run onto a an airplane as it leaves the gate and jump in a random seat and then watching the stewardess ask him where is he going and then asking for $65 which he pays in cash- just like jumping on a train or something.
WTF? Was it really that easy to fly back then? Just jump on a plane, no line, no security and pay one-way in cash? GOD THAT MUST HAVE BEEN GREAT. The fashion is hilarious as well but the movie doesn't work well.
