Review of The Panic in Needle Park (1971) by Brian S — 25 Jun 2008
Triumphant breakout performance for Pacino, coupled beautifully with the poignantly tragic Winn. very low-key movie that presents people and events in a very basic, gritty, unflattering fashion. a simple but tragic love story of two enabling lowlifes who stay together despite all the crap life throws them and all they throw to each other.
