Review of The Panic in Needle Park (1971) by Samantha C — 19 Feb 2009
This movie seemed more like just a window to these people's lives rather than a constructed movie... I felt like it jumped around a lot, had lapses of time that weren't apparent. But it really was the portrait of junkies, really makes you realize that heroin takes over their lives and the cycle continues and continues.
.. And it left me feeling sad and creeped out, so it was definitely effective.
