I really looked forward to seeing this film. I love French cinema and classical music, so the plotline of " La Tourneuse de Pages", seemed like my ideal movie.
The performances of the two principal characters Melanie (Francois) and Ariane (Frot) are superb.
Don't get me wrong, it's still a very good movie & I'll definately watch the DVD again. It's just the finale was not what I expected, an anti climax, which left me a little disappointed. I would still recommend going to see it, though.
