Review of The Page Turner (2006) by Ian L — 17 Feb 2010
Offbeat French more drama than thriller, about a girl who gets destracted during a piano recital by a judge and doesn't get into the music school. Years pass and she becomes employed by the judge's husband and slowly builds a tense relationship with her old nemesis.
The film is paced slow which works for it, but the pay off at the end seems like the original incident didn't merit such a revenge. Either way well made and acted, the piano soundtrack is matched perfectly.
