Review of The Ox-Bow Incident (1943) by Robby M — 15 Jan 2008
I have only viewed this movie once in my life and it really got to me. Perhaps one of the few early movies to depict real-time as the mob gives those three accused cattle rustlers until daybreak before they hang 'em.
Like Henry Fonda, you are hoping against hope that these three strangers will be given a fair trial or that the sheriff will come in time. Seeing all this injustice happen right before your eyes is really heart wrenching.
I've made it my decision not to watch it again.
