Review of The Ox-Bow Incident (1943) by Carlos N — 30 Apr 2008
I was taking a break from studying. Turned on the TV and this was just starting, so I figured I'd watch the first ten minutes. And then I spent the next two hours (it was on AMC, so there were commercials) watching.
It was that good. I haven't watched a film a long time and this made me want to watch one every day. Absolutely enrapturing film. It might have helped a little that I love anything with Henry Fonda, but goddamn, one of the most effective morality tales I've ever seen.
Should be seen in any class involving the justice system.
