Review of The Outsiders (1983) by Sam M — 18 Aug 2016
Good but not fantastic adaptation of the famous novel, "The Outsiders" is a tale of adolescent teens growing up in the 1950s and the story of two teen boys who must hide out after a major fight with a group of preppies.
Coppola does an okay job with the material, however more insight into the differences between social classes could have been explored more, this teen drama is good at best. This film is highly regarded because it introduced the debuts and early performances of several teens who would soon dominate the box office for years to come.
