This was one of the most pointless movies I have ever seen. The plot is all over the place and goes nowhere. The main character starts out like a nice guy, can`t even look at blood and then he turns into a psycho killer for no reason or at least not any reason that is communicated through any means to the audience.

I must say I stopped watching at some point as there was no character that I liked, or story to speak of. Don't waist your time with this. If you want to watch a great Japanese movie go for Shogun assasin or Lady Snowblood.

This whole " American who speaks next to no Japnaese but wants to be a Yakuza for some reason that is, again , not communicated to the audience, is just utterly frustrating.
