Review of The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976) by Barry R — 07 Nov 2010
A few gut-wrenching Native American cliches (part of the genre, I guess; as a five year old with my daddy at the Metro theatre to see "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon," my heart leapt when the Kiowa crested a ridge in full war regalia), and an impossibly big-eyed Sondra Locke; but this one keeps a-movin' and is probably my favorite Eastwood western after "Unforgiven.
