My appreciation for Westerns has only grown the older I have gotten, as has my appreciation for Eastwood and his body of work. This is no exception. Josey Wales is no different to many of the characters he has portrayed before or after, in fact its a carbon copy of, but its still a compelling film with many great moments to hang its hat on.
Hard to place where this sits in Eastwood's back catalogue, probably somewhere in the middle, but don't let that put you off, its a great piece of 70s western cinema.
