Review of The Others (2001) by David L — 16 Jul 2017
The Others is a good horror film, but far from a great one. It looks and sounds good with a great score, Nicole Kidman is very good in the main role and the film features an interesting story that utilizes on its haunted house trope well.
But the first half is way too slow and frankly even dull at times and although the double twist ending is a lot of fun and unforgettable, it also rendered the movie totally implausible and full of plot holes.
