Review of The Other Woman (2014) by Matthew D — 04 Aug 2014
What started off as a typical romantic comedy, quickly turned into a laughable deconstruction. This movie took the approach of "John Tucker Must Die" and and rung the concept dry. Placing Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann in the script was a good idea but in the end the screen writers let down the audience.
The writers made the viewer hate Mann's character with her annoying teenage babbling, making it almost unbearable to watch. Kate Upton played Kate Upton, not having more than a total of 5 lines, all of them sounding like her Miss America speech.
The ending ending was the cherry on top of this horrid excuse for a comedy. Did I mention Nicki Minaj?... Just see for yourself.
