Review of The Other Side of the Door (2016) by Ken K — 13 Jul 2016

Sarah Wayne Callies expertly plays the same role she always does in that of a wingey Mum who can't take care of her children in this enjoyable but ultimately flat thriller/horror. Stands out from an over-saturated market in that it's not solely a 'supernatural' piece but ultimately kills the suspenseful scenes with some dodgy editing and a few chunky plot holes to fall into.

The direction/score is on point and I enjoyed it but I probably wouldn't watch it again (or check out the sequel that is hinted at!).
