Review of The Order (2003) by Erno K — 28 Feb 2009
A very weird movie, and one that some believers probably went ape shit over after seeing. The only cool things about the church and religion are the groovy secret orders and demons and exorcism that we see in movies.
And they are most likely not true. Bummer. Movies always have cool bookstores as well, with all kinds of forbidden tomes laying around. I'd visit those stores in real life! Catch up on my demon lore.
Kind of like Giles from Buffy. There are the token creepy kids, of course, which is kind of lame. There are strange priests who curse, drink, smoke and shag, which is pretty awesome actually. Some decent twists kept me interested, and the late great Heath doesn't hurt either.
Nothing brilliant, though, only bizarre.
