Review of The Order (2003) by Maximilian D — 28 Mar 2009
I really liked this - it felt a little 'incomplete' in places, but I genuinely thought it had much promise. The atmosphere was addictive - exploring dark, catecomb-like underground tunnels throughout Rome is definitely my idea of a compelling adventure.
The ground-level view of Rome was equally beautiful. I loved the plot - especially the whole Sin-Eater aspect, and the cast (especially Ledger and Furmann) were well chosen.
