Review of The Order (2003) by Alysia V — 16 Oct 2009
As far as religious themed-horror movies go, this is not one of the better ones I have seen. Priests that drink, smoke and have sex?..Hmm, there's something wrong with that picture. Especially in a more serious film such as this.
And while I liked Mark Addy's character, I sometimes felt that his light-hearted approach to everything was a bit out of place for this story. Heath Ledger is usually a good actor but I didn't feel he really stood out in this movie.
It was rather slow paced, as well.
