HILARIOUS! I especially loved this moment between Lucia and Matt...
Matt Mateo: I'm bisexual.
Lucia: Puh-lease! I went to a bar mitzvah once. That doesn't make me Jewish!
The film is darkly funny and witty throughout with many hilariously quotable lines like these. Ricci as the manipulative spoilt brat Didi and narrator also provides many of the laughs as she tests the audiences knowledge of film cliches and manipulations and if they are paying attention.
All the performances were excellent. I was especially impressed by Lisa Kudrow, who was surprisingly convincing as someone completely opposite to her dizzy ditsy Phoebe character from Friends.
My only real problem with the film is the lead character (Ricci). Sure actors should not compromise a flawed character by smoothing over their rough edges BUT Didi is a little too cold for me...
