This is a very self-conscious dark comedy. Ricci is quite good in the lead role and Kudrow gives her best performance in any medium, at least that I've ever seen. For once she doesn't play a ditzy blonde.
Extra points for Lyle Lovett. What a cool guy. The "complete mo" character looks like he could be Tom Brady's brother which made me think of Stephen Colbert's man-crush on Tom Brady which made me wish I was watching the Colbert Report.
Still a pretty good movie though.
