Christina Ricci as Dede may not be the most lovable and most kind-hearted heroine but is definitely one of the greatest and most interesting narrators. Her cynical comments about the film's plot, her life, sex, etc.
are just hilarious and quotable. The film has a very fast pace, an unrealistic yet interesting plot, and humorous dialogues.
