Review of The Opposite of Sex (1998) by Christopher L — 10 Aug 2008

I thoroughly enjoyed this film, mainly for Kudrow's performance as the "straight-man" who is anything but. Kudrow is the kind of actress (playing the type of character) you don't want to be seeing this film without, and fortunately she is there the whole way through.

Ricci's narration is clever and spunky, but I'll take issue with Netflix's assertion that it is Ricci who steals the show. That honor belongs to Kudrow in this smart, immensely watchable black comedy that still has bite ten years after being made.
