Review of The Only Living Boy in New York (2017) by Steve S — 23 Oct 2017
Though it pulls its name from a great Simon & Garfunkel song, the film itself only works on the most basic levels. The triangle it sets up is somewhat interesting and some of the commentary about the state of New York City these days has some interest.
But, too many times the film takes the easy way, making us only connect with the characters on a minimal level.
