Review of The Omen (1976) by Kate H — 23 Apr 2011
I can see why this is a classic. Not really a horror film so much as a thriller but it is still a damn good, and creepy, ride. The casting here is what really makes it work. The late great Gregory Peck makes a fantastic and believable hero and the kid playing Damien is the right mix of cute and demonic.
Added fun with the appearance of David Warner as an ill fated journalist with a gorgeously horrific death. Fun times had by all :).
