The omen is a classic horror movie of the 1970's. This film stars Gregory Peck and a truly excellent child actor, as well as a load of other 70's actors. This film was directed by Richard Donner who directed the first two Superman movies.

Considering this was one of Donner's first movies he did a brilliant job. This film is very well directed and a really good movie. Gregory Peck is fantastic film, he carries the film and he's utterly brilliant.

The child who plays Damien is so good and so so creepy. He's able to pull off looking cute and innocent and creepy and evil at the same time. This film has some really great music, it's very creepy and fits perfectly with the film.

This film also has a lot of disturbing visuals and some great kills, especially one involving a piece of glass. Unfortunately this film's pacing is all over the place. At points it's really fast paced and at other points it's really slow paced.

However the final 10 minutes are very good and the ending is very chilling. Overall the omen is a pretty good film, it has some problems but it's a very good film. B+.
