The first movie I've ever seen that was ruined by a soundtrack. Jerry Goldsmith's score is so loud and overdone that it distracts from the movie and becomes incredibly annoying. I don't understand why it won an Oscar.
I like the movie, although it seems very dated now, and it has some highly effective moments.
