Review of The Omen (1976) by Kevin M. W — 01 Sep 2017
An interesting premise that suffers from its one note score in my opinion and too much down time for the characters. I also never considered the child a very intimidating presence even after the reveal to his true nature halfway through the film.
The same could be said for the Ms. Baylock character that wanders around looking creepy and saying creepy stuff. There is palpable amounts of tension in most of the horror scenes, and the acting is very good I thought.
However I just found it very drawn out, or at least more than it should have been in my opinion.
