Review of The Omega Man (1971) by Rodney E — 15 Oct 2008
Charlton Heston stars in a great movie that is one of the better last man alive movies. I'd say that it is a gem of 70's in terms of the tone, Heston's acting, its datedness and production values, effects.
The other survivors of the ravished world are vampire like mutants out to get Heston which leads to coll showdowns. This and The Last Man on Earth will Vincent Price is great. I still need to see I Am Legend but I like these kind of movies.
