Review of The Omega Man (1971) by John O — 03 Sep 2008
Seeing this on the big screen gave me so much more to like about this film than I Am Legend or any version of this story. And seriously, in a fight between Heston and Smith, Heston would take him hands down and come off better personality-wise.
The cheesy 70s charm adds to it but the development of one character takes it down from being a 5 star film along with a minute of unnecessary lines. Other than that, a true feast of score, visuals, Heston, and some kick ass fun.
