In addition to being a pretty easy movie to laugh at, it was also pretty easy to enjoy. The overall quality could have been much better. I personally disliked the shameless usage of zooming. I also disliked the dated soundtrack that constantly feels out of place when it could have easily added to the effect instead.

Charlton Heston actually did a decent job in this one although his performance is a little to stop-and-go. The other actors were shallow except maybe the villain. It is interesting to see a 70s version of the I am Legend storyline to say the least.

Although I have to admit that both fail the minute the other normal people show up. It gets rid of any sense of isolation and the whole "last man on earth" gag becomes a misnomer. I'd avoid this if you dislike blatantly 70s movies or Heston.

Other than that, you might enjoy some of this.
