Review of The Omega Man (1971) by Paul T — 28 Mar 2010
I am always up for a B-Movie but this movie was so awful I could only get through the first half.
Based on the book "I Am Legend," "Omega Man," I was told was a more faithful adaptation of the book than the Will Smith adaptation.
That, it was not, and it was so poor I actually felt nostalgic for the Will Smith version, despite how crappy it was too.
Oh lord, 70's sci-fi movies really suck. And it's funny to observe how Charlton Heston was a sex symbol in those days, but today, as far as action stars go, he would be plain fat.
