Review of The Omega Man (1971) by Joe H — 23 Jun 2011
The film I Am Legend surpassed this film adaptation in so many ways. One change I liked with this one was the location being L.A. as oppose to NYC. Now I'm not saying I preferred it being there over NYC! I'm just saying that was interesting to see a deserted L.
A. Also in this film Heston shows that he is an overrated actor. The director does a great job of showing how empty the city is, so loads of applause to him. And yes, the book was better.
