Prior version of I Am Legend (I didn't know there was even an earlier one). Although the movie is entertaining, half of the entertaining comes from how dated it is - very groovy. I assume it was pretty risque for the time, with the interracial love story and all.
I am glad that the last version kept the tragic ending and didn't soften the blow. I will definitely hunt down the book now.
