Review of The Omega Man (1971) by Matt K — 19 Aug 2009
A film well worth watching. The second of three attemps to turn "I Am Legend", by Richard Matheson to film. As with the first (The Last Man On Earth), this one is not perfect. In fact it suffers from a feel that often permiated movies of that time.
To hard to explain, but I'm sure many of my contemporaries know what I mean. Still, well worth a watch. I love much of the work of Charlton Heston (Soylent Green, Planet of the Apes, Ben Hur, etc.
) and he didn't disapoint me in this one.
