Review of The Odd Way Home (2013) by Michaela S — 29 May 2014
I'm fairly confused by the mixed reviews from the critics. It's true that Rain Man is the quintessential movie on autism, but The Odd Way Home isn't trying to do the same work of that movie.
It tells the story of two people who become family to each other, after being abandoned in very different ways by their own loved ones. The landscape is stunning, Chris Marquette will make you cry. Families of people with Autism have whole-heartedly supported this movie.
See it and be moved.
