Review of The Odd Couple (1968) by Simon D — 26 Jul 2011
The Odd Couple is a Classic-Comedy. The undeniable chemistry between Lemmon and Mathau makes up for the iffy scene transitions, which were my only concern. The dialogue flows more naturally than most stage to screen translations I've seen, but this is probably due largely to spot-on performances by Lemmon, Mathau, and, I guess, the entirety of the small cast.
