Review of The Odd Couple (1968) by Chris T — 18 Jul 2006
Battle of Algiers: Amazing film that at times feels like a documentary. One of the greatest films I'v ever seen, powerful, realistic, and emotional. It really isn't about what they are fighting for, but rather how they fight and it really rings true still today in war. You can feel for those that are doing the bombings, and that are fighting for their freedom.
The Odd Couple: A great classic comedy with two of the best there ever was. Matthau's performance can only bring a frown to my face, if only he could still be here doing what he does best. He's one of the best at the role he plays, and it'll be hard to find someone that can be a Oscar or a Buttermaker like him ever again.
