Review of The Object of My Affection (1998) by Matt V — 11 Apr 2009
Oh boy do I sympathize and empathize with Jennifer Aniston's character! Its very easy for many of us to fall in love with a gay man because they are so wonderful in many ways...if only Paul Rudd's character would have fallen in love with her it would have a perfect ending but alas .
...that is not the case on this one. Nevertheless, this is the story about a pregnant New York social worker (Anniston) who develops romantic feelings for her gay best friend, and the complications that ensue afterwards.
Its somewhat uplifting and a great story line although I prefer another one that I reviewed titled Bob & Rose (British). Recommended!
