One of the good thing of a lazy afternoon is you might come across some good old film. This is one of the best example. I never heard of it before, just saw it as I flipped through the channels. I am surpised by Audrey Hepburn's performance.
The story and the central character evolved gradually as it goes along. Film in location. This is an epic about a girl's faith being tested repeatly, and how unforgiving this world can turn into? Later I found out this film was nominated for a lot of oscars, but didn't do very well because it was released in the same year as Ben Hur.
Highly recommended!
